Steel socket for KAN-therm Steel systems – reliable connections in industrial and heating installations

The Steel socket is an element of the KAN-therm Steel system, designed to create durable and tight connections in internal, closed and pressurized installations. Made of galvanized steel, it provides corrosion resistance and long-term reliability. It is ideal for central heating, chilled water, process heat, solar and industrial installations – including oil installations.

Construction and application

The double-sided socket with a nominal diameter of DN12 (15 mm) is used to connect steel pipes using the pressing method. Its simple construction and precise workmanship guarantee easy installation and minimize the risk of errors. The socket length is 53 mm, and the outer diameter of the connecting pipe is 15 mm. The connection length is 26.5 mm with a working length of 6.5 mm on both sides. An EPDM seal ensures a tight connection even at high working pressure – up to 16 bar at 20°C.
