Electrical installation protection with a circuit breaker KANLUX KMB6-B10/3
This three-pole circuit breaker from KANLUX's IDEAL TS series is a reliable element protecting electrical installations from the effects of overloads and short circuits. Designed for both home and commercial use, it ensures the safety of wires and electrical devices. Its compact design – taking up 3 modules on a TH35 rail – allows for efficient use of space in the distribution box.
The circuit breaker is characterized by a rated current of 10A and a short-circuit breaking capacity of 6kA, which guarantees effective protection in the event of irregularities in the circuit. Characteristic B provides a quick response to current increase, protecting against damage caused by short-term overloads. This makes it ideal for securing circuits with a mixed character, where both resistive and inductive devices are present.
- Versatile application: ideal for protecting lighting, socket outlets and other energy consumers in residential and public buildings.
- Safety: protection against overloads and short circuits minimizes the risk of fire and equipment damage.
- Installation: easy mounting on a standard TH35 rail – saving time and installation costs.
- Durability: made of high-quality materials, ensuring long life and reliable operation.
- Compliance with standards: meets the requirements of PN-EN 60898-1 standard, confirming its safety and quality.
The KMB6-B10/3 circuit breaker has a protection degree of IP20, which means protection against touching with a finger and against the ingress of solid objects larger than 12.5 mm. It accepts wires with a cross-section from 1 mm² to 25 mm², which provides flexibility when choosing the appropriate cable for a given circuit. The device operates at a rated voltage of 230/400V AC and a frequency of 50Hz, making it compatible with most electrical installations in Poland. Also important is the energy limitation class 3, which defines the circuit breaker's ability to withstand impact energy during a short circuit.
