Through-wall access chamber with storm drain cover – protection and access to the sewer system

The through-wall access chamber 400x160 with storm drain cover is an essential element in sanitary and rainwater drainage systems. Designed for installation in a drain pipe between the building and the main network, it combines the functions of a revision shaft with protection against the effects of flooding. This solution is suitable for both new construction and the modernization of existing installations.

Construction and application

The access chamber allows for a smooth transition from a supply pipe with a diameter of 160mm to a rising pipe DN 400mm. The storm drain cover provides a tight seal, minimizing the risk of impurities and odors entering the environment. In addition, the design allows for easy access to the inside of the sewer for inspection or maintenance. This allows installers to quickly locate and remove any blockages without having to excavate the entire installation.

Installation and embedding depth

The kit includes two extensions with a total length of 140 cm (2x70cm), allowing the access chamber to be embedded in an excavation up to 180 cm deep. Additional extensions (cat. no. PRZ70) are available for deeper excavations and can be purchased separately. Installation is simple and intuitive, which translates to saving time and labor costs. The solid construction ensures stability and durability even in difficult ground conditions.
