90° Drop Arc Cover – a solid connection for your installation

This cover, designed for cable trays, is a key element in creating electrical installations requiring a change in the direction of cable routing. It serves to seal the lowering elbow, creating a safe and aesthetic system. Made of steel and protected with galvanization, it ensures durability and corrosion resistance, even in harsh environmental conditions.

The cover is dedicated to trays with a width of 500 mm and a height of 100 mm, allowing a smooth transition from a horizontal to a vertical cable section at a 90-degree angle. Installation is carried out using special VU cover holders (4 pieces per cover), providing a quick and secure mounting method. It is supplied in a straightened form, ready for shaping during installation.

Construction and installation – simplicity and functionality

The cover has been designed with ease of installation in mind. Made from a single piece of sheet metal with cut-out sides, it allows for precise fitting to the tray during installation. Connection to the tray is achieved by direct sliding and securing with NSM 6x10 screws – the screw heads are located inside the tray, which further protects the cables from damage. For trays with F coating (hot-dip galvanizing), it is recommended to use GMT-coated screws.

Application and compliance with standards

The drop arc cover is used in electrical installations in commercial buildings, industrial facilities and public infrastructure. It meets the requirements of EN 61537:02, guaranteeing safety and reliability. Its solid construction and anti-corrosion protection ensure long-term operation even in demanding environmental conditions. Sendzimir galvanizing provides effective corrosion protection, and the option of ordering a painted version allows for adaptation to the aesthetics of a specific installation.
