Cable tray cover – protection and functionality

This cover, designed for the lowering bend of a 50x250 mm cable tray, provides effective protection of the installation against mechanical damage and external factors. It is used to cover the lowering part of the bend performing a 90° vertical bend, allowing for aesthetic and safe cable routing. Sendzimir surface treatment guarantees durability and corrosion resistance.

The cover is mounted using a clip system, which facilitates assembly and disassembly if necessary. Made of steel, coated with galvanic zinc, it is characterized by high strength and resistance to weather conditions. This is crucial for ensuring long-term protection of the installation, especially in harsh industrial or outdoor environments.

Safety and compliance with standards

The product meets the requirements for E30 and E90 fire resistance systems, making it an ideal solution for facilities with increased safety requirements. Use in fire protection systems is confirmed by appropriate certificates (detailed information available in the Fire Resistant Systems catalog). Made from a single piece of sheet metal with cut-out sides, it allows for easy adjustment during installation.

For proper mounting of the cover, it is recommended to use 4 VU cover holders (available separately). They are supplied straightened, ready for immediate use. It is worth remembering that the cover is compatible only with cable trays – it does not fit ladder cable trays or mesh cable trays. A width of 250 mm ensures compatibility with standard cable tray dimensions.
