This 90° elbow is an element of a cable tray system, designed to change the direction of cable routing from horizontal to vertical (rising). It allows for a smooth transition of the installation, maintaining its continuity and ensuring safe cable routing. It is compatible with both cable trays and cable ladders, making it a universal solution in many applications.

Design and Application

The elbow is made of steel with a thickness of 1 mm, which guarantees its strength and resistance to loads. Its design, defined as a complete hinged elbow, provides stability and ease of installation. The internal radius of the elbow is 135 mm, and its dimensions are adapted to a cable tray with a width of 300 mm and a height of 85 mm. Using this elbow allows for efficient use of space and aesthetic cable routing. The elbow has an integrated connector, which facilitates installation and ensures a solid connection with the other elements of the system.

Safety and Compliance with Standards

Made of steel, this elbow meets the requirements for systems maintaining functionality E30 and E90 during a fire – important in applications where fire safety is critical. Despite the lack of side or bottom perforation, the design allows mounting with an NSM 6x10 screw (available for separate purchase), ensuring connection stability. It is important to use the appropriate screw so that the head is hidden inside the tray – this protects the cables from damage. The choice of the appropriate surface finish (e.g., hot-dip galvanized) affects the corrosion resistance and durability of the element in various environmental conditions.
