This 90° rising elbow is an element of a cable tray system, designed to change the direction of cable routing vertically. Made of steel with a galvanized zinc surface treatment, it ensures durability and corrosion resistance. It is a key component in the construction of electrical installations, both in commercial and industrial facilities.

Design and Application

This elbow is an integrated connector, which simplifies and speeds up installation. Its design based on a complete hinged arc ensures connection stability and strength. Designed for a cable tray with a width of 500 mm and a height of 85 mm, it allows for a smooth transition of the vertical installation. An inner radius of 135 mm provides an optimal bending shape, minimizing stress on the cables. It is worth mentioning that the connection of elements is made using an NSM 6x10 screw – the screw head is located inside the tray, which increases the safety and aesthetics of the installation.

Safety and Compliance with Standards

Made of 1 mm thick steel, this elbow meets fire safety requirements – it has an E30 and E90 fire performance maintenance system. This means that in the event of a fire, it maintains its load-bearing capacity for a specified time (30 or 90 minutes), which is crucial for protecting people and property. The absence of side and mounting perforations in the lower part affects the structural integrity and tightness of the installation. Compliance with ČSN EN 61537:02 confirms the high quality of the product. Additionally, the lack of side perforations minimizes the risk of mechanical damage to the cables.
