Cable tray cover – solid protection for installations

The V62 F cable tray cover is an element of cable routing systems, designed to protect cable trays or cable ladders with a width of 62 mm. Made of steel, it provides effective protection of cables against mechanical damage and external factors. The cover length is 2 meters, making it easy to adapt to the needs of a specific installation.

Construction and mounting

The cover is mounted using VU brackets (2 pieces per meter), ensuring quick and secure installation. The V 40 model is an exception, which can also be mounted using a cable tie. The material thickness of the cover is 0.55 mm, guaranteeing adequate strength and rigidity. It should be noted that the manufacturer reserves the right to supply covers with thicker sheet metal without prior notice – which in practice means even greater product durability.

Application and compliance with standards

The V62 F cover is used in electrical installations, both in commercial and industrial construction. It is compatible with galvanized cable trays and cable ladders. The product meets the requirements of the ČSN EN 61537:02 and ČSN 73 0895 P 90-R standards, confirming its high quality and safety of use. In addition, the cover has a DIN 4102-12 classification for a specific width of the cable tray/ladder. It is worth noting that the covers are also available in versions with various types of coatings: S (galvanized), F (hot-dip galvanized) and ZM (galvanized steel with the addition of magnesium and aluminum). The choice of the appropriate coating depends on the environmental conditions in which the cable routing system will be operated.
