Cable route branching element – cross KR 35X100 S

This cross (transverse element) is designed to create connections for cable routes at a right angle, allowing two independent cable lines to be run at the same level. It is a key element in KOPOS cable management systems, allowing for flexible and efficient branching of installations. The design of the cross allows for connecting cable trays with a height and width of 35x100 mm, ensuring a stable and secure connection.

Construction and assembly

The KR 35X100 S cross is made of steel, which guarantees its strength and resistance to mechanical damage. The surface is protected with galvanized coating, which provides protection against corrosion and extends the life of the element. The cross is assembled using an NSM 6X10 screw – this does not require the use of additional connectors, which simplifies and speeds up the installation process. The screw head is located inside the tray, which further protects the cables from damage. If an uneven crossing is required, it is recommended to use a horizontal branch OH or a universal connector SU.

Application and compatibility

The KR 35X100 S cross is compatible with KOPOS cable trays with a height of 35 mm and a width of 100 mm. It finds application in electrical installations in commercial, industrial buildings and in energy infrastructure. Thanks to its design, it allows for creating complex cable route layouts, adapted to individual project needs. The element meets the requirements of the ČSN EN 61537:02 standard and is classified according to the ČSN 73 0895 P 90-R standard. It is not intended for use in systems maintaining functionality E30 or E90 during a fire.
