Round concrete manhole cover – a solid solution for road and urban infrastructure

This round concrete manhole cover, with a diameter of CO600 and a height of 115 mm, is designed for installation in areas exposed to pedestrian and vehicular traffic. It meets the requirements of PN-EN 124-2 (Group 3, class C250), which guarantees its strength and safety. The manhole cover design is intended for easy integration with the surroundings, including the possibility of paving with paving stones.

This manhole cover is characterized by high resistance to loads up to 25 tons (class C250), making it suitable for places with high traffic intensity. Made of C35/45 concrete class with an additional sound-absorbing insert, it reduces noise generated by passing vehicles. Painted finish provides additional protection against corrosion and improves aesthetics.

Design and application

The manhole cover is designed for installation near curbs, where it can extend up to 0.5 meters into the traffic lane or 0.2 meters into the pedestrian path. It has positioners to prevent the cover from rotating in the housing, which increases safety. An option to order the manhole cover without bolts, with a plastic plug in the mounting holes, is available. Additionally, it is possible to place an individual design or customer logo on the cover.

It is worth noting the use of a plastic plug in the mounting holes – this is a practical solution for situations where locking is not required. The manhole cover design allows for easy adaptation to existing infrastructure and aesthetic integration with the surroundings. The sound-absorbing insert minimizes noise during vehicle passage, which is particularly important in built-up areas.
