This round cast iron cover DO600N, with a height of 150 mm and a load class of D400 (40 tons), is a reliable element of road and sewer infrastructure. Designed for installation in roadways, sidewalks, parking lots and hardened shoulders, it provides safe access to underground networks. Its raw, unpainted surface guarantees durability and corrosion resistance.

Construction and application

The cover is made of durable gray cast iron, which ensures high resistance to loads and mechanical damage. Load class D400 means that the cover is adapted to the movement of vehicles weighing up to 40 tons. The embedding depth of the cover at 5 cm minimizes the risk of the cover shifting and reduces noise during vehicle passage. A damping insert further improves acoustic comfort.

The design of the body allows for easy paving with paving stones, allowing for aesthetic adaptation of the cover to the surroundings. Positioners prevent the cover from rotating in the body, and the possibility of placing a customer's pattern (logo) on it increases visual identification.

Safety and compliance with standards

The cover meets the requirements of the PN-EN 124-2 Group 4 class D400 standard, which confirms its high quality and safety of use. Securing the cover with mass and the possibility of locking (depending on the version) guarantee protection against unauthorized access. In addition, the cover meets the requirements regarding child safety – the force required to open the cover exceeds 50 kg. Values such as load capacity (400 kN) and permanent deformation (≤ 0.2 mm) have been confirmed by laboratory tests. Slip resistance is ensured by the convex structure of the patterns on the cover surface.
