Concrete access cover for outdoor applications

This round concrete access cover with a diameter of 600 mm and a height of 150 mm is designed for installation in areas exposed to pedestrian and vehicular traffic, such as sidewalks, squares, or road edges. It meets the requirements of PN-EN 124-2 standard, classified as group 3 and class C250 – which means it can withstand a load of up to 25 tons. The cover's design is intended for easy integration into the surroundings, allowing it to be paved with paving stones.

Construction and safety

The access cover is made of high-quality concrete (class C250), which guarantees its durability and resistance to weather conditions. The cover is lockable, providing additional security and preventing unauthorized access. This locking is particularly important in public places. If the locks are missing, the openings are secured with plastic plugs. Additionally, the cover has positioners to prevent rotation within the frame. The possibility of creating an individual design on the cover (logo application) allows for personalization and adaptation to the aesthetics of the surroundings.

Application and installation

Concrete access covers of class C250 are primarily used at curbs, where they can be placed a maximum of 0.5 meters from the curb wall in the traffic lane area or 0.2 meters in the pedestrian area. They are ideal for inspecting and maintaining underground installations – water pipes, sewers, power cables, or telecommunication cables. Installation is simple and does not require specialized tools – just a properly prepared substrate and stable embedding of the cover. It is important to maintain adequate drainage around the cover to prevent water accumulation.
