Universal PoE+ switch for demanding installations

This 18-port LANBERG RSFE-16P-2C-150 switch is a solid solution for networks requiring power to devices via Ethernet cable (PoE/PoE+). It will work both in home and corporate installations, monitoring, alarm, access control systems or IP networks. It provides not only data transmission but also supplies power to devices in the 802.3af/at standard, eliminating the need for additional power supplies and simplifying cabling.

Functionality and performance

The switch offers 16 Fast Ethernet ports (10/100 Mb/s) with PoE+ support, which can deliver a total power of up to 150 W. It also has 2 Combo Gigabit ports (10/100/1000 Mb/s), which can work with both Ethernet cable and fiber optic (SFP), providing flexibility in network construction and high bandwidth for uplink connections. The well-thought-out design allows you to connect up to 10 devices in the IEEE 802.3af standard or 5 devices in the IEEE 802.3at standard simultaneously.

Intelligent power management and safety

If the available PoE budget is exceeded, the switch intelligently disconnects ports starting with the highest number to ensure the continued operation of the remaining devices. This solution minimizes the risk of failure and ensures stable operation of critical network elements. Additionally, the built-in 6 kV surge protection protects devices from damage caused by sudden voltage spikes.

Installation and mounting flexibility

The switch is designed for mounting in 19" racks, and the set includes appropriate mounting brackets and screws (excluding M6). The metal housing provides durability and resistance to mechanical damage. The Extend Mode function enables data transmission and PoE+ power supply up to 250 m on a single cable section with the function of separating the PoE ports from each other (VLAN), which is particularly useful in monitoring systems with a large range.
