PoE+ Switch for Demanding Installations

This 26-port Lanberg RSFE-24P-2C-250 network switch is a robust solution for systems requiring power to devices via Ethernet (PoE/PoE+). It is perfect for homes, businesses, monitoring systems, access control, alarm and fire protection systems. It enables simultaneous data transmission and power supply, eliminating the need for separate power cables and simplifying installation. It provides a total PoE output power of up to 250W, allowing you to connect up to 16 devices compliant with IEEE 802.3af or 8 devices compliant with IEEE 802.3at.

Functionality and Flexibility

The switch offers 24 Fast Ethernet ports (100 Mb/s) with PoE+ support and 2 Combo Gigabit Ethernet ports (1 Gb/s) that can operate as RJ45 or SFP ports. This configuration provides flexibility in network construction and allows easy connection of devices with different bandwidths. Uplink ports allow for efficient data downloading from cameras to a recorder or sharing the stream on a local network or the Internet.

Intelligent Power Management and Safety

The RSFE-24P-2C-250 is equipped with an intelligent PoE port disconnection function. If the available power budget is exceeded, the switch begins to disconnect ports with the highest number to maintain the operation of the remaining devices. This solution is particularly important in critical systems where continuity of operation is a priority. Additionally, the switch has a built-in 4 kV surge protection, protecting connected devices from damage caused by voltage spikes. The Extend function allows data and PoE+ power transmission up to 250 meters on a single cable section with PoE port isolation (VLAN), which is useful in extensive monitoring networks.

Mounting and Construction

The switch is designed for mounting in 19" racks, and the set includes appropriate mounting ears and screws (excluding M6). A solid metal housing provides durability and resistance to damage. Cooling is provided by ventilation holes and a built-in fan, ensuring stable operation of the device even under heavy load.
