Performance and Connection Flexibility

Equipped with 24 Gigabit Ethernet PoE+ ports, 2 Gigabit Ethernet Uplink ports and 2 SFP Gigabit ports, the switch offers great flexibility in network configuration. The total PoE power budget is 250W, allowing you to connect up to 16 devices powered by the IEEE 802.3af standard or 8 devices powered by the IEEE 802.3at standard. Uplink ports allow easy connection to other switches or routers, ensuring network scalability. This makes it possible to effectively download data from surveillance cameras to a recorder while simultaneously sharing the stream on the local network or the Internet.

Intelligent Power Management and Safety

The built-in PoE port intelligent disconnection function ensures stable network operation even if the available power budget is exceeded. In such a situation, the switch starts disconnecting ports with the highest number, maintaining the operation of the remaining devices. In addition, the switch has a 4kV surge protection, protecting connected devices from damage caused by sudden voltage spikes. The Extend function enables data transmission and PoE+ power over a distance of up to 250 meters on a single cable section – an ideal solution for extensive monitoring systems.

The RSGE-24P-2GE-2S-250 switch has been designed for mounting in a 19" rack, and the set includes appropriate mounting ears and screws (excluding M6), which facilitates and speeds up installation.
