The OLFLEX EB CY control cable is a flexible solution designed for use in industrial environments where protection against electromagnetic interference is required. Equipped with a screen made of tinned copper wire braid, it provides stable and safe signal transmission, especially in intrinsically safe circuits. The construction with a copper stranded wire with a cross-section of 0.75 mm² and PVC insulation guarantees good flexibility and durability.

Construction and application

The OLFLEX EB CY 4x0.75 blue cable is ideal for use in dry and humid rooms, both indoors and outdoors (avoid direct exposure to UV radiation). It will be perfect in control installations, automation systems, machines and devices where resistance to interference and flexibility during assembly are essential. The blue coating makes it easy to identify the cable in the installation.

Technical specifications and standards

The OLFLEX EB CY cable meets the CPR Eca standard, which means limited flammability and low smoke emission in the event of a fire. The rated voltage U/U0 is 500V/300V. The minimum bending radius for flexible installations is 140 mm, and for fixed installations – 42 mm. The cable is made of copper with flexibility class 5 (multi-strand flexible), which ensures its durability and resistance to material fatigue during repeated bending. Although it is not resistant to oils or low temperatures (according to EN 60811-504+505+506), its versatility makes it widely used in various industrial sectors.
