The ETHERLINE® Cat. 5e FL9YBC11Y Ethernet cable is a flexible solution for data transmission in Ethernet, EtherCAT and EtherNet/IP networks. Designed for demanding working conditions, it performs well in both fixed and occasionally moved installations. Its construction makes it ideal for outdoor applications, as well as in industrial environments where it is exposed to oils, fuels, alkalis and acids.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by high mechanical and chemical resistance thanks to the use of a PUR (polyurethane) outer jacket. Made of four twisted pairs of copper conductors with a cross-section of 0.22 sqmm (AWG 24/7), it ensures stable signal transmission. In addition, shielding with aluminum foil and a braid of tinned copper wires minimizes electromagnetic interference, guaranteeing a reliable connection. The flexibility of the cable facilitates installation and routing in tight spaces.
