Industrial and LAN Network Ethernet Cable
The ETHERLINE® Y Flex CAT.5e cable is a high-quality cable designed for data transmission in Ethernet networks, including demanding industrial environments. The cable's construction ensures reliability and resistance to mechanical damage, and the shielding minimizes electromagnetic interference. Ideal for both indoor and outdoor installations, thanks to its UV resistance.
Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by a flexible construction with four twisted pairs of copper conductors with a cross-section of 26 AWG. These strands are twisted to reduce interference, and the entire cable is surrounded by an aluminum foil and a braid of tinned copper wires – this double shielding provides excellent protection against interference. The outer jacket made of PVC provides resistance to abrasion and weathering. This allows the cable to be used in a wide range of temperatures, from -30°C to +80°C.
- Category: Cat.5e – provides a bandwidth of up to 100 MHz, allowing for trouble-free operation of Fast Ethernet networks (100 Mbit/s).
- Flexibility: The "Flex" construction makes the cable easy to install and lay, even in tight spaces.
