The ETHERLINE® PN CAT.7 Y FLEX A cable is an advanced solution for data transmission in industrial and building networks. Construction and properties

The cable features an S/FTP construction – each pair of wires is shielded with aluminum foil, and the entire cable is additionally protected with a copper braid. This solution provides excellent protection against electromagnetic interference, guaranteeing stable data transmission even in harsh industrial conditions. The use of copper conductors with a cross-section of 23AWG (4x2x23AWG) ensures adequate flexibility and mechanical strength, which facilitates installation and operation. The outer jacket made of PVC provides resistance to abrasion, oils and UV radiation, allowing the cable to be used both indoors and outdoors.

Applications and compatibility

The ETHERLINE® PN CAT.7 Y FLEX A cable is compatible with various network standards, including EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP and PROFINET (Type B). It meets the requirements of EN 50173 and ISO/IEC 11801 standards, which guarantees its suitability for structured building cabling. Thanks to its construction and properties, this cable is ideal for:
