This flexible rubber cable, designated NSGAFÖU, is a robust solution for power supply in harsh conditions. The cable is designed to operate at a rated voltage of 1.8/3 kV and a conductor cross-section of 120 mm², making it suitable for both industrial installations and specialized applications. Its construction ensures reliability and durability in demanding environments.

Flexibility and resistance to external factors

The cable is characterized by high flexibility thanks to the multi-wire, flexible class 5 conductor. The copper conductor with tin-plated finish guarantees good electrical contact and corrosion resistance. The outer rubber coating provides resistance to oils and maintains flexibility even at low temperatures (down to -40°C). This makes the cable ideal for applications exposed to contact with chemicals and variable weather conditions. The outer diameter of the cable is 26 mm, and the minimum bending radius in fixed installations is 156 mm – making installation easier even in tight spaces.

Safety and compliance with standards

The NSGAFÖU cable has been designed with safety in mind. It complies with VDE 0250 part 602 and can be used in installations resistant to short circuits and earth faults up to 1000 V (according to VDE 0100 part 53). The maximum permissible conductor temperature is 90°C, allowing for safe operation in elevated ambient temperatures (up to 90°C during operation and -25°C during installation). The absence of a protective barrier, screen or armor makes it a solution dedicated to specific applications where these elements are not required. The black coating color makes it easier to identify the cable in the installation.
