Flexible cable for applications requiring flexibility and resistance
The NSGAFÖU 1x240 rubber cable is a single-core cable with a cross-section of 240 mm², designed to operate in systems with a rated voltage of 1.8/3 kV. Designed for demanding applications where flexibility and resistance to external factors are key. This cable is used in both permanent installations and where movement or bending occurs.
Construction and properties
The NSGAFÖU cable is characterized by a solid construction. The flexible stranded copper core (class 5) provides good conductivity and facilitates installation. Rubber insulation and an outer rubber jacket provide high resistance to abrasion, oils, greases and some types of oils. This makes the cable perform well in harsh industrial conditions. Its round cross-section and outer diameter of 34.5 mm make it easy to route in tight spaces.
- Oil resistance: Meets the requirements of IEC 60811-404 standard, making it ideal for environments exposed to contact with oily substances.
- Flexibility: The stranded core construction provides high flexibility, making installation and connection easier even in hard-to-reach places.
- Wide temperature range: The ability to operate at temperatures from -40°C to +90°C (for the core) guarantees reliable operation in various climatic conditions.
- Safety: The cable does not contain halogen (no data in specification), which increases safety in case of fire.
- Use in motion: Permissible ambient temperature during installation is from -25°C to +90°C, which allows the cable to be used also in applications with moving parts.
