The GRM 55/50 wire mesh tray is an element of the OBO BETTERMANN system, designed for creating open cable routes. Made of stainless steel, it provides durability and corrosion resistance, making it an ideal choice for both indoor and outdoor applications. A length of 3 meters makes it easy to adapt to specific installation needs.

Construction and installation – speed and ease

The GRM 55/50 tray is characterized by an integrated connector, which enables quick and easy installation without the need for additional fasteners. The snap-fit mounting type further speeds up the installation process. A U-profile with a useful cross-section of 1600 mm² provides sufficient space for many cables and wires. The possibility of support spacing in the range of 1 to 2.5 meters provides flexibility in cable route design. The tray's strength is confirmed by the values of safe working load, which are: 350 N/m with a support spacing of 1.0 m, 200 N/m at 1.5 m, and 100 N/m at spacings of 2.0 and 2.5 m.

Safety and compliance with standards

The GRM 55/50 tray meets the requirements for systems maintaining operational efficiency during a fire (E30, E90). It is adapted for load testing according to IEC 61537 (Type II). Made of stainless steel grade 304 (1.4301) with a longitudinal and transverse wire thickness of 3.9 mm guarantees high stability and safety of use. The raw surface condition allows the tray to be adapted to specific project requirements through painting or other anti-corrosion protection methods.
