This Oras Nova thermostatic shower mixer combines functionality, modern design and safety. It has been designed with both the user and the installer in mind. A solid brass construction with a chrome finish guarantees durability and an aesthetic appearance for years to come. The mixer is equipped with a square rain shower head, providing a relaxing water stream.

Construction and functionality

The mixer is equipped with a precise thermostat that allows you to quickly set the desired water temperature and maintain it at a constant level, eliminating the risk of unpleasant temperature changes during showering. A built-in temperature lock at 38°C provides additional protection, especially important in homes with children or the elderly. The mixer body is designed to minimize heat conduction – touching the housing does not pose a risk of burns. The use of check valves compliant with EN 1717 standard (class EB) prevents backflow, protecting the installation from contamination. Additionally, the mixer has a system to prevent scale build-up, which facilitates maintenance and extends its lifespan. The rain shower arm is adjustable – it can be shortened to fit the room height.

Installation and compatibility

The mixer has standard external threaded connections, which facilitates installation and connection to the existing water installation. The center distance of the holes is 150 mm, which ensures compatibility with most standard shower sets. The kit includes eccentric fittings and rosettes to facilitate aesthetic fitting to the wall. Flow class S ensures optimal water consumption while maintaining comfort. The mixer has a diverter allowing connection of additional bathroom fixtures.
