IRC Technology and filament design

The light source with a power of 60 W and a GY6.35 base (two-pin, pin-based) operates at a low voltage of 12 V, which requires a step-down transformer - a standard solution in halogen fixtures of this type. The filament is positioned vertically (axially), which ensures a uniform distribution of the luminous flux and facilitates the design of the fixture's optics.

IRC (Infrared Coating) technology is a key structural feature of this lamp. A special coating on the bulb reflects heat back to the filament, reducing energy losses and lowering the operating temperature - resulting in higher luminous efficacy at the same power consumption compared to standard low-voltage halogens.

The bulb has a diameter of only 12 mm and a total length of 44 mm. These compact dimensions allow for its use in miniature accent fixtures, wall sconces, and spotlights where larger light sources would not fit. The UV filter protects illuminated objects (e.g., fabrics, works of art) from ultraviolet radiation.

A color rendering index of Ra = 100 means full color reproduction - an important parameter for product presentation and decorative arrangements.

Applications and compatibility

The lamp is intended for use exclusively in enclosed fixtures - the manufacturer reserves this for safety reasons. Compliance with the IEC/PN-EN60598-1 standard also allows for its use in open fixtures with the consent of the fixture manufacturer.

A luminous flux of 1650 lm at a color temperature of 3000 K provides a warm white - ideal for creating a cozy atmosphere in both homes and prestigious commercial spaces.
