Paroc Section Alucoat T mineral wool insulation is an effective solution for thermal and acoustic insulation of heating, central heating, steam, water supply and air conditioning installations. This product, made of rock wool covered with reinforced aluminum foil with a self-adhesive overlap, combines insulating properties with aesthetic finishing. The aluminum foil not only improves the appearance but also protects against condensation.

The insulation has a special shape – a star-shaped opening – which allows it to fit pipes with a diameter of 22 to 28 mm, making it a universal solution for both installers and end users. This eliminates the need to worry about precise fitting to each type of pipe.

Application and installation

Paroc Section Alucoat T insulation is used in the insulation of:

Installation is simple and intuitive: just wrap the pipe with insulation, press the edges and glue the self-adhesive overlap. It is important that the surfaces are clean and dry and the temperature of the insulated materials is at least +10°C. To ensure the tightness of the connections, it is recommended to use PAROC AluCoat Tape in the places of joining sections and at supporting elements. Remember to secure mechanical connections with steel binding wire or a clamp every 300 mm. The temperature at the contact of the aluminum foil with the wool should not exceed +80°C.
