PAROC Section Alucoat T insulation wrap – effective thermal and acoustic protection
The PAROC Section Alucoat T mineral wool wrap is a proven choice for insulating pipelines of various applications. Made of high-quality rock wool and coated with reinforced aluminum foil with a self-adhesive overlap, it provides excellent thermal and acoustic insulation properties. This reduces heat loss, reduces noise and prevents condensation on the pipe surface.
Construction and properties
The wrap is characterized by a round shape and a thickness of 30 mm, with an inner diameter of 114 mm. The aluminum foil acts as a moisture barrier, protecting the insulation from dampness and loss of properties. The self-adhesive overlap simplifies and speeds up installation, minimizing the need for additional fixing materials. A star-shaped hole allows the wrap to be fitted to pipes with a diameter in the range of 22-28 mm, increasing the product's versatility.
- High insulation efficiency: Thermal conductivity of 0.033 W/(m·K) guarantees effective protection against heat loss.
- Versatile application: Ideal for insulating heating pipelines, central heating, steam, domestic hot water and air conditioning ducts and industrial installations.
- Easy installation: Self-adhesive overlap significantly simplifies and speeds up the installation process.
- Moisture resistance: Aluminum foil protects the insulation from dampness and corrosion.
- Good acoustic insulation: Reduces noise from flowing media.
- Polish product: Guarantee of quality and availability.
- Convenient sections: Available in sections of 1.2 m long, which reduces tape consumption during installation.
Application and compliance with standards
The PAROC Section Alucoat T wrap is used in both residential and industrial construction. It is particularly recommended in places exposed to variable weather conditions and requiring high thermal and acoustic insulation efficiency. The product is designed to operate at temperatures up to +80°C (applies to the contact of the aluminum foil with the wool).
Using the wrap allows you to meet the requirements for building energy efficiency and improve the comfort of using the rooms. Thanks to its properties, the wrap contributes to lowering heating costs and reducing emissions of harmful substances into the atmosphere.
