Construction and properties
The insulation is made of high-quality rock wool, which is characterized by excellent insulation parameters – the thermal conductivity coefficient is only 0.033 W/(m.K). The aluminum foil not only protects against moisture but also gives the insulated surface an aesthetic appearance. In addition, this material is environmentally friendly and safe for health – it has class M1, which means no emission of harmful substances into the indoor air. Thanks to this, Paroc Section Alucoat T insulation provides comfortable use and long-lasting protection of the installation.
Installation and application
The insulation is designed for pipes with an inner diameter of 48 mm, and its thickness of 30 mm provides optimal insulation in most standard applications. The self-adhesive overlap allows for quick and tight installation without the need for additional tools or materials. The product works perfectly in residential, industrial and commercial installations. The ability to adapt to different pipe diameters (in the range of 22-28 mm) increases the versatility of the product and allows it to be used in various projects. It is worth remembering to maintain an ambient temperature above +10°C during installation and to press the edges of the insulation firmly along the seam to ensure maximum tightness.
