Construction and properties

The insulation is made of high-quality rock wool, which is characterized by excellent insulation parameters. The aluminum foil not only protects against moisture but also gives the insulated surface an aesthetic appearance. The thermal conductivity coefficient at the level of 0.033 W/(m.K) effectively reduces heat loss. In addition, the material exhibits sound-absorbing properties, which translates into user comfort. The use of aluminum foil protects against corrosion and mechanical damage.

Installation and application

Paroc Section Alucoat T insulation is easy to install thanks to the self-adhesive tab. This allows installers to quickly and efficiently secure the pipelines, minimizing working time. The product is dedicated to pipes with an inner diameter of 35 mm (adjusts to the range of 22-28 mm), and a thickness of 30 mm provides optimal insulation in most applications. It can be used in both residential and industrial buildings, as well as in external installations (observing appropriate operating conditions – the temperature at the contact of the aluminum foil and wool must not exceed +80°C). The star-shaped hole makes it easier to fit pipes of different diameters.
