The Pulsar HPB2.3-12 battery is a valve-regulated lead-acid (VRLA) battery in AGM technology, designed for applications requiring reliable backup power. It is ideal for alarm systems, fire protection systems, emergency lighting, UPS power supplies, and automation. The safety valve design and internal gas recombination ensure maintenance-free operation and minimize the need for servicing.
Construction and Characteristics
The HPB2.3-12 battery is characterized by its compact dimensions (178x68x35 mm) and a capacity of 2.3 Ah at a voltage of 12V. It is made in AGM technology, which means that the electrolyte is bound in a fiberglass separator. This design allows operation in various positions and minimizes the risk of electrolyte leakage. The designed battery life is 5-8 years (at 20°C), guaranteeing long-term and trouble-free operation. It is worth noting the charging current – the recommended value is 0.23A, and the maximum is 0.69A.
Application and Benefits
This battery model is particularly recommended for systems requiring voltage maintenance during a primary power failure. It will work well in fire protection and SSWIN PSBEN series power supplies, DSO, CCTV, and KD systems, as well as automation devices.
