Aggressor SDS Plus concrete drill bit 18x460x400mm RT-SDSA-18/460
Professional hammer drill bit for demanding materials
The Aggressor SDS Plus drill bit with a diameter of 18 mm and a total length of 460 mm (working length 400 mm) has been designed for professionals drilling holes in concrete and brick. Model RT‑SDSA‑18/460 utilizes an SDS Plus shank, which enables rapid tool exchange and transfers high impact energy from the rotary hammer to the material.
Construction and materials ensuring performance
The drill body is made of 34CrNiMo6 steel, heat-treated to achieve a hardness of 52 HRC. This material specification guarantees high abrasion resistance and fracture toughness during intensive work with hard materials such as concrete or natural stone.
The centering point located at the tip allows for precise drilling starts without the risk of slipping on the material surface. The carbide tip embedded at an angle of 160° accelerates the drilling process through optimal force distribution at the start of the hole.
The very deep embedding of the carbide tip significantly improves the connection with the drill shank, resulting in greater tool durability and operational stability even during prolonged use.
Aggressive flutes and debris removal
Aggressive flutes running along the body enable rapid removal of debris from the drilling site. This feature not only increases the working pace but also prevents tool overheating through continuous air cooling from the hole.
The exceptional cylindricity and axiality of the drilled holes has been confirmed by the international SicherSafe certificate. This means that every hole made has a perfectly round cross-section and a straight axis, which is crucial when installing components that require precise fit.
Application and compatibility
The RT‑SDSA‑18/460 drill bit performs excellently when drilling holes in concrete (including high-grade), solid and hollow brick, and aerated concrete. Following testing, it can also be used for high-density natural stone.
The tool is adapted for use with rotary hammers equipped with an SDS Plus chuck. During operation, moderate pressure should be applied, adjusted to the type of material, and debris should be regularly removed from the flute grooves after each drilling stage.
Storage in a dry place allows the tool's functionality to be maintained for a long time and protects metal components from corrosion.
