Relay socket – reliability and easy installation

The GZU11 plug-in socket is designed for use with R15 3P series relays. It provides a convenient and safe way to connect the relay, eliminating the need to directly connect wires to the coil and contacts. Made of high-quality materials, it ensures a stable connection and long-term operation. The gray housing of the socket is discreet and blends well with most electrical installations.

Construction and application

The GZU11 socket is designed for mounting on a standard 35 mm DIN rail, which greatly simplifies and speeds up installation. It has screw terminals for input (coil) and output (contacts), providing a solid and reliable connection of wires. The socket design allows for easy relay replacement without the need to interfere with the wiring. The current rating is 10 A at 250 V AC, making it suitable for many applications in industrial and building automation.

The input terminals (coil) marked as A1(2) and A2(10) are used to connect the relay coil power supply. Available output terminal (contacts) configurations are: 11(1)-12(4)-14(3), 21(6)-22(5)-24(7), 31(11)-32(8)-34(9) – used to connect the load controlled by the relay. Mounting on a 35 mm DIN rail ensures quick and easy installation, according to the standard. Compact dimensions – 82 x 35.5 x 25.7 mm allow for installation in limited space.

It is worth remembering that for a complete mounting kit, it is recommended to purchase a spring clamp of type GZU 1052, which increases the height of the set by about 4 mm, providing additional connection stability. The socket, relay and clamp set dimensions are: 82 x 35.5 x 84.1 mm. The IP20 protection class means protection against touching with a finger and against the ingress of solid objects larger than 12.5 mm.
