This advanced meter, Sonel MPI-525, is a versatile tool designed for both professional installers and advanced users. The device combines the functions of many specialized instruments, enabling a comprehensive analysis and assessment of the condition of electrical installations. Versatile measurement capabilities

MPI-525 offers a wide range of measurements, including loop impedance, RCD parameters, insulation and earth resistance, and continuity of protective conductors. Its unique feature is the ability to measure insulation resistance with a voltage of up to 2500V, making it an ideal solution for testing various installations. Additionally, with the optional AutoISO-2500 adapter, it is possible to automatically test the insulation resistance of multi-core cables and wires.

Precision and safety

The MPI-525 meter is distinguished by its high precision in measuring loop impedance (resolution 0.01 Ω) even in circuits with RCDs. It also allows for accurate determination of the tripping time and tripping current of RCDs with a single activation. The housing with IP54 protection ensures resistance to mechanical damage and harsh environmental conditions.

Functions facilitating work

MPI-525 is equipped with a number of functions to facilitate the work of installers: automatic measurement of RCD parameters with a single press of the “START” button, the ability to set time intervals during insulation resistance measurement, and acoustic signals to facilitate reading the results. The built-in memory allows you to store up to 990 measurement results, and the USB interface enables easy data transfer to a computer for analysis and report generation. The meter also has a function to detect the swapping of L and N wires in the socket.
