ABS Welding Rod – Reliable Repair of Plastic Components
This adhesive is dedicated to repairing components made of ABS plastic (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) and is key to effective and durable bonding. Ideal for both professional installers and end-users, it allows for precise and solid repairs of various types of damage. The adhesive is particularly recommended in situations where standard ABS adhesive may be insufficient – e.g., for components with additives or modified ABS mixtures.
Universal Application and High Quality
The 100g adhesive is manufactured in Poland from 100% pure granulate, guaranteeing its high quality and reliability. Each batch is individually labeled, confirming its authenticity and origin. Available in the form of a rod approximately 40 cm long, in a triangular shape (approx. 4mm) or strip (approx. 8mm), it allows for adaptation to specific needs and the type of repair. This makes it possible to precisely fill gaps and join elements in a durable and aesthetic way.
Properties and Benefits
Universality: Adhesive for joining ABS, AES, ABA, ABAK, ABS/PC, ABS+PC, ABS/PET, AES, ASA, ASA/PC, SMA, SB and AEPDS.
High welding temperature: Recommended welding temperature is approx. 320-340°C – adjust it to the type of welding machine and material.
Connection durability: The adhesive formula has been developed to provide a solid and durable connection even in the case of difficult materials with additives.
Ease of use: Availability in various shapes (triangle and strip) makes it easy to adapt to a specific task.
Polish production: Guarantee of quality and control at every stage of production.
Efficiency: 100g of adhesive allows for welding with a length of 10 to 20 meters – depending on the type of adhesive and the shape of the element.
Applications in Various Industries
The adhesive finds wide application in many industries:
Automotive: repair of mirror housings, scooter and quad fairings, car interior elements (e.g. dashboard).
Electronics and Household Appliances: repair of computer, laptop, printer housings and elements of household appliances (e.g. vacuum cleaners).
Toys and Sports Articles: repair of electronic toy housings and helmets.
Household and Office Articles: repair of containers, organizers and office furniture elements.
Remember to perform a preliminary test on a fragment of the material before starting the actual repair! Also, make sure the surface is clean before welding and use appropriate personal protective equipment during work.
