Universal water and air pressure reducer

This pressure reducer, with a diameter of DN40 (6 inches), is a reliable solution for precisely reducing and stabilizing pressure in water and air installations. It is suitable for both domestic systems and more demanding industrial applications. The reducer's design allows for easy connection of a pressure gauge on both sides, facilitating control of operating parameters.

Application and functionality

The reducer is designed to work with media such as water and air. Thanks to the ability to adjust the output pressure in the range of 1.5-6.0 bar, it can be adapted to the specific needs of the installation. A factory setting of 4 bar ensures readiness for operation immediately after installation. The maximum input pressure of 25 bar guarantees safety and reliability even in installations with high pressure. It complies with PN EN 1567 standard, which confirms its quality and safety of use.

Construction and installation

The reducer has screw connections, which facilitates installation and disassembly if necessary. The pressure setting indicator allows for quick and precise adjustment of the desired output pressure. The availability of different sizes (DN 15 to DN 50) allows you to match the reducer to specific installation requirements. The possibility of connecting a pressure gauge on both sides provides full control over the device's operation – useful for both the installer during system start-up and the end user monitoring its operation.

Additional information regarding performance: at a flow rate compliant with PN 1567 (v = 2m/s), the reducer achieves a value of 9.10 m³/h, while at a flow rate compliant with DIN 1988 (v = 3m/s) this value is 13.70 m³/h. The maximum operating temperature is 60°C. The reducer is manufactured by Syr.
