Pressure reducer type 315 1/2 inch 0315.15.000
Professional pressure reducer for water supply and industrial installations
The 315 type pressure reducer is an advanced solution designed to protect water supply and industrial installations from damage caused by pressure surges. Compliant with standard PN EN 1567, it is primarily used in drinking water systems but is also suitable for compressed air and neutral media installations.
Construction and materials ensuring reliability
The reducer body is made of dezincification-resistant brass (gunmetal), ensuring long-term corrosion resistance. All rubber components are made from aging-resistant elastomer, and the diaphragm is reinforced to increase durability. The nut's high strength is provided by glass-fiber-reinforced synthetic material.
The system is based on a spring-loaded single-seat valve with pressure relief and a coaxially mounted filter screen with a mesh size of 0.25 mm. A key design feature is the cartridge system – all working parts are housed in a single cassette that can be replaced without dismantling the entire valve and without the need for special tools.
Operating parameters and regulation range
The reducer operates at a maximum inlet pressure of 25 bar, reducing it to a range of 1.5-6.0 bar. The factory setting is 4 bar, which is an optimal value for most domestic installations. The operating temperature must not exceed 30°C, which should be taken into account during installation planning.
The flow capacity is 1.3 m³/h at a flow velocity of 2 m/s (according to PN EN 1567) or 1.8 m³/h at a velocity of 3 m/s (industrial/commercial installations). The pressure drop at maximum flow is 1.3 bar – the difference between static and dynamic pressure at the outlet.
Functionality and user benefits
The reducer is equipped with an outlet pressure indicator, allowing the set pressure to be read without installing an additional manometer. The spring cover is rotatable by 360°, ensuring the indicator remains visible regardless of the mounting position.
The design allows for installation in any position – vertical or horizontal – provided the flow direction marked by an arrow on the body is maintained. The system meets the highest acoustic protection requirements up to DN32 (acoustic class I) and holds DVGW certificate number NW-6330AT2061.
