H05V-K (LGY) cable is a universal installation cable, ideal for transmitting electrical energy in building installations. Made of stranded copper conductor class 5, it provides flexibility and resistance to repeated bending, making it an excellent choice for both professional installers and end users. It is suitable for installation in plaster ducts, under plaster and in cable ducts.

Construction and properties

The cable has PVC insulation, which provides good protection against mechanical damage and external factors. Its round shape and outer diameter of 2.2 mm facilitate installation and routing in tight spaces. Additionally, the cable is characterized by high resistance to low temperatures, allowing it to be used in harsh environmental conditions. The conductor resistance is 39 Ohm/km, and the permissible operating temperature is from -40°C to +50°C during installation and from -40°C to +70°C after installation.

The H05V-K cable meets the requirements of IEC 60332-1-2 standard regarding flame retardancy. The reaction to fire class is Eca, which means that the cable limits the spread of fire in the event of a fire. It should be noted that it does not have a protective barrier and is not halogen-free. It is identified by white color and has a marking of compliance with HD 308 S2.
