Sinusoidal output filter – improving power quality for motors
This three-phase SinECO-11/22 sinusoidal filter is designed to work with frequency inverters with a power of 11 kW. Its task is to restore the sinusoidal shape of the voltage at the inverter output, which translates into a number of benefits for both the installer and the end user. This filter not only improves power quality but also unloads the inverter, eliminating unwanted capacitive currents.
Limitation of interference and engine protection
Using a sinusoidal filter significantly reduces the degradation of the motor and power cable insulation. This limits energy losses in the motor and reduces noise generated during its operation. This translates into a longer motor life and lower operating costs. The sinusoidal filter also allows for the safe operation of devices sensitive to harmonic distortion.
Construction and operating parameters
The SinECO-11/22 filter uses chokes made in low-loss CoreECO™ multi-slot technology, which ensures high efficiency and minimal energy losses. The device is adapted to work in 400V networks (possibility of adaptation to other voltages on request) and at a frequency of 50 or 60 Hz. The voltage drop on the filter does not exceed 10%, and the total harmonic distortion of the voltage (THDu) is maintained below 5%. The filter is designed to work with inverters with a switching frequency of at least 4 kHz.

- Overload capacity: The filter withstands short-term overloads – 110% of the rated current / 160% of the rated current for 60 seconds.
- Quality tests: Each filter undergoes voltage tests at a level of 3 kV / 50 Hz / 60 s, which guarantees its reliability and safety of use.
- Insulation class: Available versions with insulation class F (155⁰C) or H (180⁰C), allowing you to match the filter to specific operating conditions.
- Environmental conditions: Possibility of operation at temperatures from -25⁰C to +40⁰C and in various climate/environmental classes (C1/E0 – land, C2/E1 – mining and marine).
- Degree of protection: Available various degrees of protection IP00, IP23, IP44, IP54 (on request).
- Winding material: Made of copper (Cu), which ensures high conductivity and durability.
- Mounting: Mounting is done with screws through angle brackets or paws, which facilitates installation and servicing.
- Compliance with standards: Meets the requirements of EN/IEC 60076-6 and EN/IEC 61558-2-20.
