3-phase sinusoidal output filter for a 22 kW inverter SinECO-22/42 SINECO-22/42
Sine filter for inverters – protection and drive efficiency
This three-phase sine filter with a power of 22 kW is designed to work with frequency inverters, improving the quality of the motor power supply and extending its life. Its task is to restore the sinusoidal shape of the inverter's output voltage, which is crucial for the correct operation of devices. This filter not only protects the motor but also optimizes its operation, reducing energy losses and noise.
Application and benefits
Sine filters are used in drive systems powered by voltage inverters. Their installation is particularly important in installations where high power supply quality is required, and motors are exposed to damage caused by harmonic currents. Thanks to the use of this filter:
- Limited insulation degradation: The filter reduces the negative impact of harmonics on the insulation of the motor and cables, preventing failures.
- Reduced energy losses: Improving the waveform of the voltage translates into lower losses in the motor and energy savings.
- Noise reduction: The sine filter contributes to quieter motor operation.
- Inverter relief: Eliminating capacitive currents reduces the load on the inverter, increasing its reliability.
- Compliance with standards: The filter parameters meet the requirements of European standards PN-EN 60076-6 and PN-EN 61558-2-20, ensuring safety and compliance with regulations.
Construction and operating parameters
The filter is designed to operate in standard industrial conditions. It is made of high-quality materials, including copper windings, which guarantee reliability and durability. The chokes, which are a key element of the filter, are made using multi-slot technology, minimizing energy losses. The filter is adapted to the network voltage of 400V (with a tolerance of +10%) and a frequency of 50Hz. It is designed to operate at a switching frequency above 4 kHz and has overload protection (110% for 60 minutes and 150% for 60 seconds). The voltage drop does not exceed 10% of the nominal value (Un), and the total harmonic distortion ThdU is maintained below 5%. Voltage tests are carried out at 3kV / 50Hz / 60s. The device can operate in an ambient temperature of up to 40°C and has an insulation class of T40F (155°C). The degree of protection is IP00 (optionally IP23; IP44; IP54). Mounting is done with screws through angle brackets.
