Construction and expandability

The V570-57-T20B controller is distinguished by the lack of built-in physical inputs/outputs, which provides great flexibility in adapting to specific application needs. Expansion is possible via SNAP modules mounted on the "back" of the controller, local expansion modules connected to the EXP.PORT (using EX-... adapters), or remote I/O modules connected via the CAN port (UniCAN) or CANopen. This allows you to configure a control system with an appropriate number of inputs and outputs, tailored to the complexity of the process.

Communication and programming

The controller offers a wide range of communication possibilities, including two independent RS232/485 ports, a CAN port and a miniUSB port. Serial ports and miniUSB are used for programming and communication with a PC. In addition, the device supports the Modbus RTU (Master/Slave) protocol and enables communication with GSM/GPRS modems (after adding the appropriate module). The controller is programmed in the advanced VisiLogic environment, which is characterized by clarity, intuitiveness and a rich set of functions. The Function Block Ladder (FBLD) programming language combines the simplicity of a ladder diagram with the possibilities of function blocks. It is worth noting that the VisiLogic software is free and has extensive Help documentation.

Performance and technical parameters

The controller is characterized by a fast program scan time – about 9µs per kilobit operation – and large program memory (2MB), graphics (12MB) and fonts (1MB). It also has a built-in real-time clock RTC, which enables precise monitoring and control of processes in time. The dimensions of the device are 197 x 146.6 x 68.5 mm and panel mounting provides an IP65 protection rating.
