This Unitronics PLC controller with a built-in Unistream B3 T20 HMI panel combines control functionality with an intuitive operator interface. This compact device is designed for a wide range of applications in industrial, building, and process automation. By combining the controller and HMI panel into a single housing, it minimizes installation complexity and reduces costs.

Functionality and communication

The controller offers 10 binary inputs, 2 analog inputs (voltage 0-10V and current 0-20mA) and 8 transistor outputs, including 2 PWM outputs for precise speed or brightness control. This provides flexibility in handling various signals and devices. Built-in Ethernet and USB Host ports enable easy communication with other devices as well as programming and configuration. Support for communication protocols such as RS232/RS485, CANopen, ModbusRTU, UniCAN, ModbusTCP, Ethernet/IP, FTP, MQTT, SQL and SNMP expands integration possibilities with existing systems.

Construction and operating conditions

The device is designed to operate in harsh industrial conditions – the operating temperature range is from -20°C to 55°C. Compact dimensions (121.1 mm width, 63.9 mm depth and 123.2 mm height) allow for mounting in limited space. The power supply is DC voltage in the range of 20.4…28.8V. The use of 12-bit resolution ensures precise processing of analog signals. Additionally, remote access via VNC (Virtual Network Computing) allows you to monitor and control the system from tablets, computers or smartphones.
