Unitronics UniStream series controllers are compact and efficient automation solutions, combining the functionality of a PLC and an HMI panel. The B5 model with a 5-inch touchscreen TA30 is a versatile device, ideal for a wide range of industrial applications.
This controller stands out with its integrated HMI panel, which enables direct visualization and control of processes without the need for additional devices. This saves space in the control cabinet and simplifies system configuration. Equipped with 14 digital inputs, 4 analog inputs, 10 digital outputs, and 2 analog outputs, it offers flexibility in connecting various sensors and actuators. Additionally, Ethernet, USB, and USB Device interfaces provide easy communication with other devices and computers.
Versatility and expandability
The UniStream B5 TA30 controller is not only a compact controller but also a scalable platform. The ability to expand via I/O modules allows you to adapt the system to changing application needs. Available are modules increasing the number of digital and analog inputs and outputs, as well as specialized modules, e.g., for temperature measurement (Pt100/TC). Communication via Ethernet opens the way to integration with SCADA systems and the use of the MQTT protocol for remote monitoring and control.
Construction and application
The controller housing is designed for panel mounting (IP65), which provides protection against interference and moisture. A wide operating temperature range (-20°C to +50°C) enables its use in harsh industrial conditions. Programming is done in Ladder Diagram (LD), which is a standard in industrial automation. The built-in web browser allows for remote data browsing and system diagnostics through a standard web browser. This solution works perfectly in applications such as:
