The Unitronics UniStream B5 T42 PLC controller is a versatile device combining the functionality of a programmable controller with an intuitive 5-inch HMI panel. The integrated HMI allows for direct visualization of processes and interaction with the machine, eliminating the need for a separate operator panel.

Flexibility and performance in one device

This model offers 24 digital inputs (including 4 fast/encoder 90kHz), 2 analog inputs (0-10V or 0(4)-20mA) and 16 transistor outputs (including 2 PWM). This combination allows for supporting a wide range of automation applications. The controller is compatible with international standards and designed to operate in demanding industrial conditions. Additionally, the ability to expand with additional I/O modules – both local and remote – ensures system scalability and adaptation to changing needs.

Communication and programming

The UniStream B5 T42 controller offers rich communication possibilities, including Ethernet/IP, Modbus TCP/IP, VNC Client/Server and many other protocols. Programming is done in the free UniLogic environment, which allows not only creating PLC logic, but also designing HMI visualizations, parameterizing frequency converters and servo drives, and configuring a connection with the UniCloud. Thanks to this, the entire process of creating and deploying applications is simplified and more efficient. The ability to use VNC allows remote access to the HMI visualization from a computer or phone.
