Technical specifications and mounting
The UAC-CX-01CAN module is characterized by its compact dimensions and ease of installation. It has a D-Sub9 connector for connecting a shielded cable compliant with the EIA RS485 standard. The dielectric strength of the insulation is 500 VAC for 1 minute, ensuring safety and reliable operation. The module does not require an external power supply – it is powered directly from the CAN bus port. An important aspect is also the need to use terminating resistors of 121Ω at both ends of the CAN bus to ensure proper communication. The selection of the transmission speed should be adapted to the length of the cable – the longer the cable, the lower the transmission speed should be selected to maintain connection stability.
