Its design allows for easy installation, and compatibility with the Wavin Tigris system guarantees seamless integration with existing installations.

Technology for professionals and user peace of mind

The Tigris M5 fitting features an innovative Acoustic Leak Alert – an acoustic leak detection system. In case of incorrect crimping, the fitting emits a distinct sound (approx. 80 dB), making it easier to locate the problem during air pressure tests. This saves time and minimizes the risk of costly repairs. Additionally, OPTIFLOW technology provides up to 50% larger inner diameter, which translates to better flow and lower pressure losses in the installation. The IN4SURE function allows visual verification of correct pipe seating in the fitting before crimping, increasing the confidence in the made connection.

Versatility and compliance with standards

The fitting is compatible with various crimping jaw profiles (U, Up, H, TH and B), eliminating the need to invest in additional tools. Made of high-quality brass and equipped with an EPDM seal, it guarantees corrosion resistance and long-lasting tightness. It meets the requirements of standards for drinking water installations as well as underfloor and radiator heating, and has KIWA certification. The maximum working pressure is 10 bar at a temperature of up to 70°C. Applications in installations: domestic hot and cold water, central heating, underfloor heating and technological installations (chilled water, compressed air).
