The WILO Initial DRAIN 13-9 pump is a solid and reliable device designed for draining contaminated water, rainwater, drainage water, and grey water with a small amount of solids. It is suitable for both domestic and professional applications – from protecting basements from flooding to automatically emptying pits and shafts. Its design allows for effective lowering of the water level, even when the natural slope of the terrain is insufficient.

Construction and application

The pump is designed for durability and efficiency. The housing and impeller made of high-quality polypropylene (PP-H) provide resistance to corrosion and mechanical damage. Equipped with a float switch, it automatically starts and stops the pump depending on the water level, which minimizes the risk of dry running and extends its lifespan. A 10-meter power cable increases user comfort and facilitates installation.

Performance and technical parameters

The Initial DRAIN 13-9 pump offers a maximum performance of 15.4 m³/h and a head of up to 10.22 meters. It is capable of pumping water with solid particles up to 5 mm in diameter. The 0.75 kW motor provides sufficient driving force, and the F insulation class guarantees safe and reliable operation. The IP68 protection class means complete resistance to immersion in water, allowing operation even in completely submerged conditions up to a depth of 5 meters. The nominal flow rate (BEP) is 10.27 m³/h at a head of 62.36 kPa. The used motor operates in S3 25% mode, which means cyclic operation with breaks, ensuring its longer life.
