Design and application

The Wilo-Sub TWI 5-506EM-FS pump is designed for immersion in water, eliminating the need for additional suction devices. Its compact dimensions allow installation in wells with a diameter of 90 mm or more. Equipped with an integrated float switch (FS version), it protects the motor from running dry, which significantly extends its life. The pump is designed for continuous operation, and its solid construction ensures trouble-free operation for a long time. It can also be used for garden irrigation or crop spraying.

Performance and operating parameters

This pump offers impressive performance – a maximum of 9.21 m³/h and a head of up to 67.13 meters. The 1.1 kW motor operates at 230 V and a frequency of 50 Hz. Thanks to the use of an impeller made of stainless steel 304 (1.4301) and a pump body made of the same material, the pump is resistant to the action of sand – the permissible content is as much as 50 g/m³. Protection class IP68 guarantees complete sealing and the possibility of working in complete immersion at a depth of up to 17 meters. The pump's rated current is 7.9 A and the temperature of the pumped liquid can range from 5 to 40°C. In addition, the pump has insulation class F, which ensures safety and reliable operation. The outlet connection is a tapered BSPT-Rc (ISO 7-1 / EN 10226-1) internal gas thread with a diameter of 1 ¼ inch (32 mm).
