Construction and application

The Wilo-Sub TWI 5-SE-306EM pump is a multistage pump made of stainless steel, which ensures its high resistance to corrosion and mechanical damage. Equipped with a suction basket, it effectively prevents sand and other contaminants from being drawn in, which translates to a longer service life of the device. The pump motor has its own cooling, which allows it to operate even outside of immersion in water – this is a useful solution in situations where the water level is too low. A 20-meter power cable and a safety rope facilitate installation and safe operation of the pump.

Performance and operating parameters

This pump offers a maximum performance of 5.91 m³/h and is able to lift water to a height of 64.46 meters. The motor power is 0.75 kW, and the supply voltage is 230 V (alternating current, single-phase). The IP68 degree of protection guarantees complete sealing and the possibility of working in complete immersion. The pump is adapted to work with water at a temperature from 5°C to 40°C and with a maximum sand content of up to 50 g/m³. The outlet connection with a diameter of 1 ¼ inch (32 mm) with an internal BSPT-Rc thread ensures easy installation in existing installations. The C characteristic allows it to react more slowly to short current surges, therefore it tolerates starting devices with a motor well.
