AustroPEX CW pre-insulated pipe with heating cable is a comprehensive solution for cold drinking water, chilled water and sewage installations. The construction based on a PE 100 pipe (according to EN 12201 standard) combined with efficient PUR foam insulation and a corrugated HDPE jacket provides not only protection against corrosion and heat loss, but also exceptional flexibility and ease of installation. An additional, self-regulating heating cable (10 W/m) allows maintaining the appropriate temperature even in difficult conditions, enabling the installation to operate at temperatures down to -30°C.

Construction and properties

AustroPEX CW is a system designed for durability and reliability. The insulation layer made of XPE foam with a closed-cell microcellular structure minimizes water absorption (below 1% according to DIN 53428), ensuring long-term protection against environmental impact. The corrugated outer jacket made of HDPE not only protects the insulation from mechanical damage, but also facilitates unwinding and laying the pipe, which translates into time savings during installation. The pipes are characterized by high corrosion resistance and can withstand working pressure up to 16 bar. SDR 11 is an additional parameter indicating solid workmanship.
