AustroPEX CW pre-insulated pipe with A160-1x63 heating cable is an advanced solution designed for building efficient and durable installations. Construction and properties

AustroPEX CW is a system designed for optimal performance and durability. The inner pipe made of PE 100 (SDR 11) guarantees corrosion resistance and long service life. A key element is the closed-cell microcellular PUR foam insulation, which minimizes water absorption (below 1% according to DIN 53428) and provides excellent thermal insulation properties. The corrugated HDPE outer jacket protects the insulation from mechanical damage while also making it easier to unroll and lay the pipe. In addition, the presence of a self-regulating heating cable with a power of 10 W/m allows maintaining the appropriate temperature of the medium inside the pipe, even at low ambient temperatures (down to -30°C). The maximum working pressure is 16 bar.
