AustroPEX CW pipe with A125-1x40 heating cable is a comprehensive solution for building efficient and durable installations. Designed for the transport of cold drinking water, cooling water and in sewage systems, it provides reliable protection against heat loss and corrosion. The pipe construction combines flexibility, resistance to mechanical damage and ease of installation, which will be appreciated by both professional installers and end users.

Construction and properties

The pipe consists of several key elements that provide its unique properties. The inner layer made of PE 100 (SDR 11) guarantees corrosion resistance and compliance with EN 12201 standard. It is surrounded by a layer of closed-cell microcellular PUR foam insulation, minimizing heat loss and water absorption (below 1% according to DIN 53428). In addition, the built-in self-regulating heating cable with a power of 10 W/m protects the installation from freezing even in extreme temperature conditions – down to -30°C. The whole is protected by a corrugated outer jacket made of HDPE, which increases the flexibility of the pipe and protects it from mechanical damage.

The pipe is characterized by high flexibility (bending radius 20°C: d x 20), which allows it to be adapted to complex installation layouts. The maximum working pressure is 16 bar, which guarantees safe use.
